for Equine Gastrointestinal Tract

Editor's review- ... For anyone seeking to better understand equine colic, this program is a great place to start. It includes an excellent collection of animations, and 3D interactive media depicting both the normal and abnormal GI tract. The anatomical models in the new program are very accurately depicted, and have been presented in a manner designed to help you master the intricacies of equine gastrointestinal anatomy which are augmented by ultrasound images highlighting the features of the normal organs. The standalone movie on abdominal ultrasonography turns a highly complex and confusing diagnostic technique into something that is simple and understandable. Finally, the Disease section of the program offers several options for learning about the disease, including a selection of animations, interactive 3D models, simulated rectal examination, and interactive ultrasound images. This program also demonstrates steps involved in examining a horse with colic to make an informed diagnosis, but is not meant to serve as a substitute for trained veterinary care.
