You must have the Program CD in your CD drive to operate the program. This is our copy protection. No data is being transfered. Therefore, if you receive the message "Please insert the Glass Horse CD in your CD drive" the program is just checking to see if it is there.

Distal Limb:

Macintosh Users: You MAY operate the program from the CD (without installing) if your computer is powerful enough to show the movies and play audio without delays. We recommend installing the program on your hard drive because performance is improved. Windows users must install the program.

Concerning the Distal Limb CD: If you cannot see the QuickTime movies you may not have the correct version of QuickTime. This program requires version 5.0.2 or higher. We have included an installer as part of this program. To install QuickTime 5.0.2 go to Start Menu > Programs >Glass Horse > QuickTime 5.0.2 Installer. Follow the onscreen instructions.

If you have installed Quicktime, and you are pressing the buttons on the lower left side and do not see the movies, you are pressing the AUDIO buttons. Please review the instructions (under the Help menu) to learn how to work with the QuickTime movies

If you see the QuickTime movies for an instant and then they dissappear, there may be an incompatibility with your computer hardware configuration and the program. Please contact us. We are working on an alternate version that may work for you.

If you do not know the letter of your CD drive you can also install the program by double clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop, then locating the Glass Horse CD icon. Double click on the CD icon and then double click on the Setup file. This will install the program. Follow the onscreen instructions.
